Brief introduction of Jianning

Jianning is located in the northwest of Fujian, in the middle of Wuyi Mountain. In ancient times, it was Sui 'an County. It was founded in the second year of Gan Yuan in Tang Dynasty and in the first year of Zhongxing in Southern Tang Dynasty (AD 958). Up to now, it has a long history of 1050. The geological structure was formed 2.6 billion years ago, rising from the vast seabed to the land and gradually extending to the surrounding areas such as Taining and Ninghua. The geology is named Tianjingping landform, which is the oldest land in Fujian Province. This ancient Chinese land with a long history has formed unique geological conditions. Among them, Mount Kumgang, one of the five major components of Taining World Geopark, is the highest peak in Fujian (elevation1858m). With the unique geology in Jianning, it has created unique agricultural farming conditions and formed a number of high-quality agricultural and sideline products which are well-known at home and abroad, mainly including grain, lotus, seeds, fruits, fungi, bamboo, bamboo shoots, tobacco and tea. Among them, Jianlian is known as the first lotus in the world and has been planted for thousands of years. It is a royal tribute of past dynasties and is protected by national geographical indication products. Jianning Huang Huali was rated as a famous fruit in China and a famous agricultural product in Fujian Province. Today, Jianning is one of the largest and most representative characteristic agricultural counties in Fujian Province. The annual planting of lotus seeds, seeds and pears is stable at more than 50,000 mu, 50,000 mu and 1 1 10,000 mu respectively. It is the "hometown of lotus in China", "hometown of Huang Huali in China", "hometown of Sapindus in China" and a provincial hybrid rice seed production base county.
