What's the difference between ADSL and dial-up Internet access?
The connection mode of dial-up Internet access is different from ADSL bandwidth. Dialing is through the telephone line, and the bandwidth is 14 kbps-56 kbps (the modem speed is different), while the broadband is connected to the Adsl modem through the network cable, and then connected to the telephone line, which requires the application of the operator, and the bandwidth is 1-3 Mbps, so the large bandwidth is fast.
In addition, dialing is an analog signal, which means that a computer converts a digital signal into an analog signal through a modem, and then transmits it through a telephone line, and then converts it into a digital signal in telecommunications, while broadband transmission is a digital signal.
Also, the frequency used for dialing is the same as the frequency band of the telephone, so you can't make a phone call by using dial-up internet, and the frequency of ADSL is much higher than the frequency band of the telephone, so you can make a phone call by using broadband internet.
