Geographical Environment of Changbai Mountain Ski Resort

Changbai Mountain Ski Resort is located in the virgin forest of Changbai Mountain Nature Reserve, Erdaobaihe Town, Antu County, Jilin Province, more than 500 kilometers away from Changchun City, about 270 kilometers away from Yanji City and about 190 kilometers away from Antu City.

The ski resort is based on Changbai Mountain 16 peak, with Tianchi and Erdaobaihe in the south, Yuanchi in the east and underground forest in the north. The altitude of the snowfield is1640m to1820m, and the snow quality here is very close to that of France and northern Italy. The natural conditions in the snowfield are very good and the scenery is beautiful. Since 1959, thousands of athletes from all over the world have been skiing here.

Changbai Mountain, the first mountain in Guandong, is as famous as the Five Mountains. Known as "the first peak in the snow for thousands of years", there are many tourist attractions here. Tianchi Lake in Changbai Mountain is the largest crater lake in China. It is slightly oval, like a lotus flower out of water, and like a jasper embedded between the sixteen peaks. It is accompanied by two mirror-like lakes, such as two eyes watching the vicissitudes of the world. It can be described as "a pool of Tianchi water, overlapping peaks, graceful clouds and shadows in the sky, and thousands of rainbows flying".
