What are the contents of religious innovation and the Four Progresses?
Legal analysis: Religious circles should establish harmonious temples and churches, establish advanced religious groups, and guide and promote the Constitution, national flag, socialist core values and Chinese excellent traditional culture to enter religious activities.
Legal basis: Article 36 of the Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC). China people and citizens have freedom of religious belief. No state organ, social organization or individual may compel citizens to believe in or not believe in religion, and may not discriminate against citizens who believe in or not believe in religion. The state protects normal religious activities. No one may use religion to engage in activities that disrupt social order, harm citizens' health or interfere with the national education system. Religious groups and religious affairs are not dominated by foreign forces.
