What kinds of removable dentures are there?
There are two kinds of removable dentures, complete removable dentures and partial removable dentures. A complete removable denture consists of a denture base and a denture. The denture base is supported by the adsorption force generated by close contact with mucosa, atmospheric pressure and edge closure, and adsorbed on the upper and lower alveolar ridges to restore the facial morphology and function of patients. Some removable dentures are supported by the adjacent teeth or other residual teeth, alveolar ridge and mucosa in the edentulous area. With the help of the clasp and base on the denture, the denture can obtain good retention in the oral cavity, thus repairing some missing teeth and restoring the functions of teeth and dentition.
