Crosstalk is an art of making people laugh.
The early cross talk was called "image talk", which was actually a kind of ventriloquism. Ventriloquism is also called "mouth opera", in which the actor does not show his face, hides in a cloth enclosure, and performs various sounds and the chirping of birds and animals.
Because the sounds performed were very similar, ventriloquism was later called "pivot", and later became "cross talk".
