Figure skating as standard in many technical disciplines does not allow flips in official figure skating competitions. The reason is simple. If an athlete accidentally falls to the ground, he can easily injure his brain. The hard material of the ice rink is too harmful to the human body, so it is not allowed.
However, such maneuvers are allowed in skating performances. Furthermore, at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, black French athletes improvised this maneuver in their free skating. In addition, figure skating competitions have six jumps. With the exception of Axel's unique jump, which is a forward jump, the other five jumps are backward with the blade. This requires most jumpers to slide backwards as they enter the jump. The "run" is used during the overdrive phase over 12 meters, and during the sprint phase of the wheelie. During the "run", the legs return to the front knee while supporting the leg. The outreach is complete. During the "run", the less sliding the better, and under ideal conditions, the supporting foot will not slide in the direction of the tool holder.
