The Artistic Value of Haiyan Saozi

Haiyan Saozi is the oldest primitive form of Haiyan Han traditional culture. Legend has it that it was born before Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty. It was originally a ritual activity of the Han nationality, and it was sung with the contents of Han folk stories, myths and legends, local customs, production and life, news anecdotes and so on. Later, it absorbed some performance forms and music such as rap art (such as Xuan Juan), drama (such as Haiyan Opera) and folk minor. , and gradually evolved into a comprehensive Han rap art form with a unique style, based on literary albums and taking Haiyan dialect as the main form of expression, telling stories, shaping characters, expressing thoughts and feelings and reflecting social life. Haiyan Saozi is closely related to Haiyan Opera, one of the four earliest vocal cavities in China Opera, which originated from sea salt. Some experts and scholars call it the "living fossil" of Haiyan Opera, which is of great value to the study of the development history of China Opera. The traditional activities of Sao Zi Opera have basically stopped, but its artistic essence still exists among the Han people because it is deeply loved by the local people. Haiyan Saozi is listed as a provincial level and declared as a national intangible cultural heritage.
