The most worthwhile place to go in Taiyuan
Jinci museum, located in Jinci Park, Jinci Town, Jinyuan District, Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, is 25 kilometers away from the city center, covering an area of 1.2 million square meters, with a building area of 25,000 square meters and a warehouse area of 1.0 square meters. It belongs to Taiyuan Cultural Relics Bureau, and is a local comprehensive category integrating cultural relics protection, academic research, exhibition, security, scenic spot construction, important reception and social education.
The planning layout of jinci museum is divided into three parts: the central part, the northern part and the southern part. In the middle, that is, the central axis, it enters from the gate, starts from the water mirror platform, passes through Huixian Bridge, the Golden Terrace, the Moon Square, the Fairy Hall, the Bell and Drum Tower and the fish pond flying beam to the main hall of Notre Dame. This is the main body of Jinci Temple, and the building structure is rigorous.
From Wenchang Palace in the north, there are Dongyue Temple, Guandi Temple, Sanqing Temple, Tangshu Temple, Chaoyang Cave, Daifengxuan, Santai Pavilion, Reading Desk and Lvzu Pavilion. Most of the buildings in this group are arranged in a natural and intricate way with the terrain, winning with lofty shelves. In the south, from the El Nino Building, there are the White Crane Pavilion, the Three Temples, the Zhenqu Pavilion, the Difficult Old Spring Pavilion, the Jellyfish Building and the Gongbozi Temple. This group of towers, with flowing springs, has the charm of Jiangnan gardens.

Taiyuan ancient city wall is one of the existing complete and long-standing city walls in China, which was built in the Ming Dynasty. With a total length of about 12km, it is one of the landmark buildings in Taiyuan.
