The Influence of Traditional Culture on Moral Construction

The traditional culture, based on Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, contains a full range of contents, including etiquette and morality, interpersonal relationships, behavioral norms, science and technology, national policies, and war ideology. The traditional culture that can be described tangibly (in this case, in the form of words, pictures, etc.) is equivalent to the culture of the traditional literati class. Intangible cultural influences may be more profound but are not often noticed. The response is more about the world and ideas as seen through the eyes of the traditional literati. This part of traditional culture, despite the official propaganda, in fact has little influence on the spiritual world of today's people. For example, the distinction between Chinese and barbarians that runs through the history of the Han people is strongly colored by a cultural nationalism that is rare in the history of the world's peoples. However, we know that there are two tendencies pervading China today, one is reverse nationalism and the other is Han nihilism. It is clear that the two not only do not exist in the succession relationship, and even diametrically opposed.
