Is it a waste of talent for doctors to teach primary schools?

After all, every teacher has his strengths, but he can't master everything. Therefore, the teacher structure of the school should be rich, hierarchical and different. At the same time, with the deepening of education reform, students' learning needs are increasing, which has spawned many new teachers' posts. In the future, the channels for recruiting teachers in primary and secondary schools may be more extensive, and the source of teachers will expand from a relatively single college to more colleges and universities.

Take technology. In the past, teachers' positions were relatively single, and science and technology instructors may be part-time teachers in related disciplines in schools. Now the professionalism of science and technology teachers needs to be greatly improved, and they should even be able to offer the latest science and technology courses such as artificial intelligence to give students more professional guidance. The post of science and technology teacher has also become a full-time post. The same is true of art and teachers in physical education class. Because students have higher learning needs, dance companies, choirs, orchestras and other student associations in schools need to strengthen their teachers. Physical education class is also constantly introducing new events, such as roller skating, skating, fencing, taekwondo, rhythmic gymnastics and so on. Schools need to recruit some professionals to teach students. In addition, under the requirements of the "double reduction" policy, after-school services continue to deepen, and the types of elective courses need to be more abundant. For example, elective courses such as psychology, home economics, fashion design and 3D printing offered by Beijing No.2 Middle School all need professional teachers.

As for why doctors favor primary and secondary school teachers' posts and even tend to rob them, I think there are two main reasons: First, the state attaches importance to education, and the atmosphere of respecting teachers and attaching importance to teaching in society is getting stronger and stronger, and primary and secondary school teachers' posts are attractive enough for highly educated talents. Secondly, most doctors have been reused by schools after entering primary and secondary schools. They find it useful and are willing to stay in primary and secondary schools to display their talents.

With the development and progress of society, it is nothing new for doctors to become primary and secondary school teachers, but it will become a natural social phenomenon.
