Identification

During the Republic of China, imitations of this variety appeared. Most of them used diamond tools to carve three-fruit or four-fish patterns on Yongzheng Ji red glaze vessels, and then filled them with white. The glaze is fired again at high temperature in the kiln, and it can almost look like the real thing. For such imitations, the appraisal should focus on the fact that the edges of the filled white glaze and the original red glaze cannot be completely integrated.
