The invention of ancient wind turbines
principle
Wind turbines include windmills and waterwheels. The windmill transfers the wind energy to the water truck, and then the water truck transfers the energy to the pumped body, so that the water can be lifted.
3 classification
The main part of a windmill is a wind wheel that can rotate under the action of wind. The wind wheel consists of sails. Traditional windmills in China can be divided into two categories: ① Vertical shaft main sail type. The wind wheel consists of eight cloth sails, and it moves by the oncoming wind. The plane of sail movement is consistent with the wind direction, but one side is opposite. This kind of windmill is inefficient and has been gradually eliminated. (2) Horizontal (oblique) axis canopy type. The motion plane of the wind wheel is perpendicular to the wind direction, and the wind wheel consists of 3 ~ 18 awnings. Due to the emergence of wing wind turbines, old windmills will be gradually replaced.
