The origin of Ma Touqin?

Ma Touqin, a Mongolian bowstring instrument. Named after the horse's head carved on the top of the piano. Mongolian is called Hull, Molin Hull (Matou Hull). China people are commonly known as the Huqin, ponytail Huqin, Bowstring Huqin and so on. Its short history is the product of Chaoer's innovation. Since 1950s, on the basis of traditional small-headed pianos, various musical instruments such as Ma Touqin, Ma Touqin and bass Ma Touqin have been reformed and manufactured, greatly enriching the musical instrument series of Ma Touqin. Up to now, it still maintains the rich grassland characteristics such as soft, rich, beautiful and deep timbre, which is deeply loved by the people. They are often used for solos, instrumental ensembles or for folk songs and dances and rap, and some of them have become important stringed instruments in Chinese national bands. It is popular in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Beijing, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Gansu, Qinghai, Yunnan and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
