Shen Yuanru's "Orchids" and "Orchids of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and China" thought that this kind of orchid was obtained by Mr. Rong Wenqing in 1912; "Nai'anju Art Orchid Penchants" and "Three Hundred Questions on Chinese Orchid Art" thought that this kind of orchid was obtained by Mr. Rong Wenqing in 1911. Ten years later, "A Little History of Orchids and Cymbidiums" recorded this species, and in the last ten years, "Continuing Orchids and Cymbidiums Concordance Record" also recorded this species, so it can be seen that "Xishenmei" was spreading between Jiangsu and Zhejiang in more than twenty years from Fenghua to Wuxi, and then to Hangzhou and Shangyu.
