The operating income of the 500th ranked enterprise in the list is 35.961 billion yuan, which is 3.636 billion yuan higher than the threshold of the previous year's entry. This is the 18th consecutive year that the entry threshold for China's top 500 enterprises has been raised.

The number of enterprises with operating revenues of more than 100 billion yuan in the 2020 Top 500 Chinese Enterprises increased to 217, a net increase of 23.
