There are many tools and materials used in this polishing method, but the best effect is wool wheel+cerium oxide (common name, rare earth polishing powder).

3. Acid polishing: the surface of glass is treated by the corrosive action of acid on glass. Before polishing, it is necessary to use abrasive belt to polish the glass surface, because acid polishing can reduce the thickness of glass a lot, but it may not completely remove the lines of glass.
