Located in the southeast of Yinzhou District, Ningbo City It is the birthplace of the Dragon Boat Festival folk activities marked by dragon boat races, and is also the hometown of China's famous dragon boat culture.

In 1976, the bronze shrapnel with feather race pattern unearthed at Stone Baldy in Jiacun confirmed that there were dragon boat races in Yunlong more than 2,000 years ago. Yusai bronze shrapnel is also regarded by the State General Administration of Sports as a physical historical material of sports competitions in China with a long history, and one of the reasons for Beijing's Olympic bid. The Ningbo Municipal Government has also taken it as a symbol for the declaration of the "Ningbo Maritime Silk Road" as a world cultural heritage.

In order to make Yunlong Dragon Boat more standardized and professional, this year, Yunlong Township has adopted the tournament form for the first time in the Dragon Boat Racing System. The preliminaries will determine the top two in each group by group stage and enter the final eight, using a point system, with the highest points ranking first. Final placements will be determined by cross-elimination.

Since last year, the organizing committee has specially set up an electronic live broadcasting screen about 20 meters wide and 8 meters high at the site to broadcast the dragon boat race live in real time, so that spectators can see every exciting moment of the race even from far away.
