Ancient burial custom, why can't the coffin fall to the ground during handling? What will happen after landing?

This is just a traditional custom, and it is also a local custom in various places. Like southern Shandong and northern Jiangsu, it is also popular to carry coffins for burial. When you first left the village, you put down the coffin. It is said that the coffin was heavy and the deceased was homesick. Stop the coffin, let the relatives of the deceased cry for a while, and then continue to carry the coffin to the cemetery.

Some places say that it is not good to carry a coffin once, and some places say that it is purely folk custom and has no consequences!

In the real funeral culture, the custom of carrying coffins at funerals is that coffins touch the ground and are buried underground. As the saying goes, coffins are not allowed to touch the ground until the burial place and time. Why is there such a rule? The reason is that in traditional culture, the dead can't touch the earth and air after burial.

Because rustic is the road to the underworld, contact with rustic is equivalent to opening the door of the dead world it contacts, and the soul will stay where it contacts the ground and will not move forward. If there is no special way to bring it back, it will become a lonely soul. Earth-qi is the entrance to the dead world, and normally it will enter the dead world from the burial place.

The coffin didn't reach the burial place and didn't touch the soil, which means that the deceased can only be buried in this place because the coffin has touched the ground and absorbed the atmosphere. It is the place where the dead belong and the place where they are buried. The ancients were very particular about some situations, and the funeral process was also very complicated. There are strict rules for every step and exercise.

The rule of carrying coffins is that under normal circumstances, eight people carry coffins. If it is too long to walk, they will divide into several groups and take turns to carry the coffin. In some places, elders take the initiative to arrange coffin lifting, and another is to take the initiative to sign up for coffin lifting. However, in either case, in the process of lifting the coffin, the coffin should not be allowed to fall to the ground until it reaches its destination. Even if you are tired, you will put a wooden stool under the coffin to avoid touching the ground.

When carrying the coffin, Qi Xin will cooperate in the difficult road, but at the same time, firecrackers should be set off to clear the way, which means to remove those things that are in the way. Spreading paper money is actually buying money for things that get in the way along the road, which means that the deceased can pass safely and smoothly by throwing money. It is unlucky for a coffin to land halfway, but everything has accidents.

Once the coffin falls to the ground, but the feng shui is not good or people can't be buried, then take a lump of soil from where the coffin falls and put it on the coffin, take it to the burial place and scatter it in the grave. This represents the favorite place where the deceased was buried. In fact, the story that the coffin can't land originated from Zhuge Liang in the Three Kingdoms period.

Zhuge Liang asked to tie the coffin with hemp rope before he died, and four people were carried out. When the hemp rope broke, the coffin was buried on the ground. At that time, Zhuge Liang's boss was worried that four people would cut corners, so he replaced it with a rope with iron wire inside, which was very strong and could not be broken in a short time, even if all four people were exhausted.

So the four men carried Zhuge Liang to a deserted place and buried him regardless of the broken rope. Then they went back to a job and were killed directly after being seen by the big boss. From then on, no one knew that Zhuge Liang was buried, which became the source of carrying the coffin and burying it on the ground.

Generally speaking, you can't lift the coffin to the ground. You see some people are tired and need a rest, so you should put something under them. Why are you doing this?

This is the requirement of feng shui. Generally, it is the burial place, cemetery, time, direction, etc. of the deceased. All are valued by Feng Shui masters. Everything on the Jin Mu, fire, water and earth in the five elements, must be interrelated or in harmony with the dead. If it landed, it means that the deceased may have occupied two customs, especially the first customs, where it landed for the first time. The feng shui here is good, but that's all.

The body of the deceased is buried underground. As long as it touches the earth, it will grow, and there are two kinds of hair, one is well developed and the other is stunted, so the coffin can't land. If so, it will be sent here. No matter how good feng shui is, it won't work if it is buried!

The memory of carrying a coffin as a child is still so clear.

To be clear, one thing is certain. It is not impossible to land when carrying a coffin to the funeral. On the contrary, it stopped landing many times on the way, let the seriously injured rest, change the lift and check the terrain. As the saying goes, five miles are different, and ten miles change rules. Really,

We all have to land here once, but the location is exquisite, not at the crossroads, not at the door of other people's homes, not at the door of other people's cemeteries, but on the spacious and flat road, and all relatives, relatives and dutiful sons pay homage as soon as possible! Sacrifice for the road! After the road sacrifice, distant relatives and friends can leave and no longer go to the cemetery. Those who go to the grave to worship are the closest relatives, called: Shanglin! When the funeral is really buried, the relatives of the deceased or the nephew of the father-in-law will give two boxes of cigarettes to each "busy person" who helps with the funeral! Filial piety kowtows to "busy people" as soon as possible!

There are no consequences.
