The difference between whales and sharks
First of all, the theme is different.
Whales belong to mammals and sharks belong to fish and sharks. Sharks and whales are huge animals in the ocean, but the bigger they are, the fiercer they are. Some are really big, but very gentle, and basically only eat zooplankton and small fish. Others are very small, but very fierce. They are good at attacking prey and are natural enemies of animals such as the sea.
Second, the types are different.
Whale is a cetacean, a traditional taxon under the phylum Mammalia, including about 90 species of fish-like aquatic mammals with bare skin and their early extinct relatives, collectively known as cetaceans, with mild temperament and feeding on fish and shellfish. Sharks are fish, fiercer than whales, and feed on small animals.
Third, animals have different attributes.
Sharks are cold-blooded animals, while whales are warm-blooded animals.
Fourth, the skin surface is different.
Sharks have shield scales all over their bodies, and whales have smooth and scaleless skin.
Five, different breathing methods
Sharks breathe through gills, while whales breathe through their noses.
