What minefields will there be in traditional education?

Since middle school, there have been courses in mathematics, science, culture, geography and history, among which Chinese only accounts for one sixth, while ancient poetry accounts for about 0/0% of Chinese/kloc. From this ratio we can see the proportion of traditional culture in modern education. However, regardless of the proportion, it is undeniable that traditional culture is the foundation of modern culture. If we compare traditional culture to crops in the field and the publishing media to hoes, all obvious mistakes in traditional culture will be erased. Maybe there will be continuous rain, maybe there will be whispers, maybe weeds will sprout again, but they will only do it again. The question I am asking here is that if I look at a traditional culture from another angle, I will find some new problems. Now, taking Confucianism as an example, I have the following doubts.

First of all, Zhong Ni himself did not want to use the principle of loyalty and forgiveness as a means of rule, but wanted to make the world a benevolent society. However, when the later rulers regarded it as a tool to govern the people and regarded benevolence, loyalty and forgiveness as the requirements of moral self-discipline, the rulers themselves were not restricted, and more importantly, the people resented it. In the case that both the government and the people violate the law, society needs the rule of law. We need to tell students, especially college students, that social governance cannot start with self-discipline.

Second, Confucianism is the advanced culture of immature farming civilization in slave society, but it is often attacked by backward nomadic culture in its later development. Why? Many scholars have done a lot of analysis and discussion on this. The toughness and rigidity of the culture here can not be replaced by the self-discipline culture, which means that the self-discipline culture is in a state of being bullied in the world. It is necessary to tell students, especially college students, that a strong confrontational culture of a country is an important idea of defending the country and defending the country. We should take history as a mirror and build a strong confrontational military force for the long-term development of national culture.

Third, as the traditional culture of Confucius and Mencius, whose culture it belongs to is the national culture. This is not wrong, and it can also be said to be the traditional culture of mankind. This is understandable, but whether it is the culture of the people is debatable, at least it has little to do with the interests of the people. Only when the power of culture is combined with the interests of the people can it show its great power. This is the key to the success and failure of the peasant uprising. This is also the success of the China Revolution and the socialist market economy. We should tell college students the importance of the relationship between culture and people's interests.

Whether in or out of school, this method of observing traditional culture from another angle may be more conducive to academic education and social education.
