Synopsis of the Tale of the White Snake

Synopsis: Chinese folklore says that in ancient times, the White Snake and Xu Xian fell in love at first sight and got married. Fa Hai monk saw Xu Xian face with demonic gas, he took him to the Jinshan Temple to hide to the throne after the white snake lady led the small green snake to find husband, Fa Hai not allowed. White Snake Lady had no choice but to fight with Fa Hai, so the water flooded San Francisco, Fa Hai moved the heavenly soldiers to deal with White Snake, and pressed White Snake under the Leifeng Pagoda.

Passage: Fahai tricked Xu Xian to Jinshan Temple and put him under house arrest. Bai Suzhen, together with Xiaoqing, fought with Fahai and flooded Jinshan Temple, but hurt other living beings as a result. After giving birth to a child, Bai Suzhen was taken into Fahai's mantle and suppressed under the Leifeng Pagoda because she had violated the laws of heaven. Later, Bai Suzhen's son grows up to be a scholar and sacrifices himself to his mother in front of the pagoda, rescuing her and reuniting the family. The family is reunited, and the lovely Xiaoqing also finds her husband.

Zuo Si in the "Wei Du Fu" recorded the "Lian Mei with calves" love story legend: "herdboy in the black mountain cattle, and looks young and old, sometimes handsome and sometimes ugly, and later with Lian Mei female bond, do not know where to go."
