What is the connection between rudder and anchor?
According to the function, rudder can be divided into balance rudder, elevator and perforated rudder. According to the purpose, rudder can be divided into two categories: river rudder and sea rudder. The rudder is a device installed at the stern to control the course. Although the rudder is a small device, it can make the huge hull run freely. The secret is that if a sailboat wants to turn left, it has to deflect the rudder to the left at an angle, and the current produces a pressure on the rudder surface, which is the rudder pressure. Anchors are indispensable equipment to ensure the safety of ships, and ship anchors mainly include anchor crowns. Pin shaft, anchor claw, anchor handle, anchor rod and anchor shackle constitute the anchoring mode, and ship anchoring is a common berthing mode. The process is roughly as follows: the anchor connected by anchor chain or anchor cable on the ship is thrown into the water and landed, biting into the soil. The grasping force generated by the anchor is consolidated with the bottom of the water, and the ship is firmly anchored at the predetermined position. According to different waters, meteorological conditions and operation requirements, the anchor throwing methods are different, and the common ones are head anchor, tail anchor and fore-and-aft anchor.
