Visit Baima Village-Zhai Ke Qiao

Friends who are familiar with the Romance of the Three Kingdoms must know the ancient road built by Shu. According to historical records, it is located at the eastern foot of Fujian, which is the only way to the west of the ancient Shu Road. In the valley where Baima River passes, there is a special township-Tielou Tibetan Township. It's bumpy all the way to Tielou Township. The road follows the direction of the mountains and streams. All tributaries flow through the village into Baima River and then eastward into Baishui River.

In the middle of the mountains in Tielou Township, there is a group of unique ethnic groups who call themselves "Baima people"-Baima Tibetans. Baima Tibetans have a small population of more than 20,000, living in Tielou Township, Wenxian County, Gansu Province, Pingwu County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, Jiuzhaigou and other places. At present, there are more than 3,000 Baima Tibetan compatriots in Tielou Township. The fifth year of 2008. In the "1212" earthquake, Wenxian and Tielou townships were also greatly affected, and the houses of Han and Tibetan farmers in several villages were damaged to varying degrees.

I want to visit Zhaike Bridge, a village in the west of Tielou Township.

Zhaike Bridge, called Saiguo Bridge in ancient times, is called "Nazha" in Baima Tibetan, which means a village on the edge of a mountain forest. The altitude here is about 1400 meters. In remote ancient times, the pattern of mixed ethnic groups of Han and Tibetan has been formed. There is a crystal clear stream Tielougou flowing in the village, and mountains are everywhere in the jungle on both sides of the stream. In the village, you can see the snow in the mountains further away. According to legend, in ancient times, there was no bridge on the river, so residents on both sides of the river could not communicate with each other. In order to facilitate mutual contact, communication and trade, people specially built a magnificent bridge on the river-Zhaike Bridge, which is the best bridge near Tielou. According to the old people, it is a broad and solid wooden bridge with a carved roof and new blue tiles. However, this ancient walled Ke Qiao was destroyed in the Qing Dynasty, and now there is no trace of its early heyday. However, the name Zhai Ke Qiao has been handed down and became the origin of the village name.

Zhai Ke Qiao Village is very small, and the stream naturally divides the village into two parts, which are called "Yin half" and "Yang half" by the local people. Most of the ancient Han farmers lived in the "Yang Ban" that is, Zhakeliang area, while Baima people lived in the "Yin Ban" that is, Sesame Mountain area. Now there are more and more mixed-race children in the village.
