What is the difference between dry-mixed mortar, wet-mixed mortar and ready-mixed mortar?

Ready-mixed mortar can be divided into wet mortar and dry mortar, which belongs to ready-mixed mortar.

Wet mixed mortar includes wet mixed masonry mortar, wet mixed plastering mortar, wet mixed ground mortar and wet mixed waterproof mortar.

Dry-mixed mortar includes: ordinary dry-mixed mortar, dry-mixed masonry mortar, dry-mixed plastering mortar, dry-mixed ground mortar and dry-mixed common waterproof mortar.

Wet mixed mortar is composed of cement, fine aggregate, admixture, water and various components determined according to performance. According to a certain proportion, after measuring and stirring in the mixing station, it is transported to the place of use by a mixer, stored in a special container and used up within the specified time. It can be directly used in the construction site, but it must be used up before the mortar sets, and the longest storage time is no more than 24 hours.

Dry-mixed mortar is a dry-mixed mixture of dried and screened aggregate, cement and various components determined according to performance, which are mixed in a professional factory according to a certain proportion, and mixed with water or supporting liquid according to a specified proportion at the place of use. Bulk or bagged supply, which needs to be used after mixing with water or matching liquid at the construction site. Dry-mixed mortar has a long storage period, usually 3 months or 6 months.
