Where is Lan Kwai Fong in Hong Kong?

Lan Kwai Fong is an L-shaped uphill path in Central Hong Kong.

Lan Kwai Fong is a narrow L-shaped cobblestone street located between Yunxian Street and Dejili Street in downtown Hong Kong. The street is full of western-style restaurants and bars, but it has a great reputation. Lan Kwai Fong is located on the south-central side of Queen's Road on Hong Kong Island. It is only 15 minutes' drive from Causeway Bay.

Two parallel pedestrian streets, plus a short avenue connecting the two pedestrian streets, are really not as romantic as I expected. The pedestrian street is not long, so it takes seven or eight minutes to walk on each street.

The bar culture of Lan Kwai Fong;

The bars in Lan Kwai Fong area are fashionable in style, unique in decoration, not luxurious, simple in furnishings, with wooden stools, high stools or high armchairs, and wine cabinets with various beers and glasses, with little decoration.

Many bars set up stalls along the street, mostly small, with only a few dozen seats; But the brands are very high, and almost all of them are in English. Li Ronghua is a food street. Various restaurants serve Japanese "Teppanyaki", Indian curry, Malaysian, Thai, Vietnamese and China dishes.

So far, more than 50 bars and restaurants have been opened in the whole Lan Kwai Fong area. Their names and decorations are westernized and full of exotic customs, and they are known as the unique cultural special zones in Hong Kong.

Every afternoon from 5 pm to 8 pm is the "happy hour" time, and the bar is crowded with off-duty white-collar workers. "Happy time" refers to the time for white-collar workers to go to work and eat. Because of the influence of British culture, Hong Kong people usually have the habit of having afternoon tea around 3 pm, while dinner time is around 8 pm.
