Why do muskets and rifles use wood characters instead of fire characters?

Because the gun itself is a cold weapon, the gun appeared when there was no musket. The gun itself consists of a stick and a knife blade. Early guns were equipped with gunpowder/flame launchers, so they were originally guns that could breathe fire/set fire. Later, after the evolution based on the projectile fired by firearms, the name was not changed.
