Qiao Yu Xinjiang Uygur wedding

On the first afternoon of our arrival in Urumqi, local friends took us to the international market and gave us a very grand reception in the evening. We tasted all kinds of special dishes: roast lamb, milk tea, yogurt, fried buns, jiaozi, noodle soup and mutton noodles ... so many that I really can't remember. Of course, mutton is the most.

In my opinion, the best fruits are all kinds of fruits: cantaloupe, watermelon, grapes and so on. Xinjiang's fruits are really sweet, especially mare's milk grapes and small yellow-green grapes, which are as transparent as pearls, sweet but not sour, sweet but not greasy, and don't spit grapes. The more we eat, the more we like to eat. We were not full and bloated, but in the end we couldn't eat any more. Especially the five of us, facing a table full of delicious food, don't want to swallow a bite. And when we sat there, we were particularly reserved and restrained. We left the party one by one in order to go to the bathroom. Along the corridor built by vines, we happened to meet the wedding of Uighurs.

The first thing I noticed was that in the male guest table, there were two or three tables of young Uighur boys sitting around the banquet table under the big tree, chatting while eating, and two others were playing the piano and singing with musical instruments. They didn't dance at first, but sang along with the beat. We ladies are very curious. Looking at these young boys, all dressed in white shirts, blue pants and black shoes, they are very handsome. We couldn't help taking out our mobile phones and taking pictures of them.

These boys didn't stop when they saw us taking pictures, but became more enthusiastic and emotional. They stood up, jumped up and danced, and we were also encouraged by their lively enthusiasm, standing on the side of the road to enjoy and record the picture!

All the boys are dancing Uygur dance, with their skillful steps, funny expressions and polite opening remarks. Attracted our attention, we watched one song after another until the boys got tired of dancing and stopped dancing.

Compared with the excitement of the young male guests, the wedding ladies sat at a banquet at a distance from the male guests. The young female guests and the bride look very quiet and reserved. But they are all beautifully dressed, with long skirts and high heels, and their hair is pulled, loose, curly or straight. Painted with thick face makeup, even without makeup, these Uighur girls have extremely high face values, high noses, deep eye sockets, long eyelashes and slender legs. Even we ladies were fascinated by their beauty, and we stood looking at each other.

According to local friends, Uyghur weddings are held in the evening, and guests attending the dinner specially wear beautiful evening dresses. Look at this female guest, how amazing she is, dressed in red makeup. In order to appreciate the beautiful guests, we simply sat in the chairs by the wedding corridor. Indeed, every guest, especially the female guests, painted exquisite faces and wore long skirts and dresses. We really like female stars.

Not only the young female guests are wearing beautiful clothes, but even the elderly female guests are wearing colorful clothes to dazzle our eyes.

At 8 o'clock in the evening, the male guests surrounded the groom, blowing and beating, and came to the female seat to meet the bride. In fact, 8 o'clock here is equivalent to 6 o'clock, and the sun has not set yet! When the groom marries the bride, the female guests just stop the groom through a red rope. The playful male guests beat the beat and shouted slogans. Soon, the groom took the bride into the banquet hall.

In the dinner hall, the guests followed suit. 300 yuan and 400 yuan are waiting. Of course, we dare not go to the table because we didn't follow the ceremony. We had to reluctantly leave the party and go back to our restaurant. Sitting at our own table, we are always obsessed with the programs in the wedding hall. Did it jump up again? Is it singing again? Local friends said that this is not the most grand and lively wedding. If it is a wealthy family, the wedding reception will be grand and lively.

After a while, we sat at our own banquet and seemed to hear singing. Ms. Guo couldn't help but be curious and ran to the wedding banquet hall first. The remaining four of us couldn't resist the temptation of singing and finally ran to the wedding banquet hall. I entered the hall and danced ballroom dancing at the wedding banquet with envy. Men holding women, women holding women, dancing with the rhythm of Uygur songs under the staggered lights. We are envious, curious and envious. One song ends and another begins to dance. We were called back by our men after 10.
