The story of the night boat

The Night Boat is the title written by Zhang Dai, an old man in Tao An.

There is knowledge in the world, but it is the most difficult to deal with on a night boat.

The story tells that one day a monk and a scholar lived on a night boat. In the evening, the literati talked loudly, and the monk balked at each other's knowledge and avoided meeting the literati. During the chat, the monk asked the literati, is Tan Taiming one person or two people? The literati replied that it was two people. The monk asked again, is Yao Shun one person or two people? The literati replied that nature is human. Then the monk smiled and said, well, let me stretch.

Zhang Daishu told this story in the preface to the book Night Flight. I want to tell you that this book mainly records immediate events, all of which are chats. Just don't let the monk stretch his feet.
