Wulin traditional village

Wulin traditional village, located in Jinjiang, Quanzhou, is located in the center of South Fujian Golden Triangle, separated from Taiwan Province Province by water and facing the sea on three sides.

Quanzhou Bay in the northeast, shishi city in the east, Taiwan Province Strait in the southeast, Jinmen Island across the sea in the south, Nan 'an City in the west and Licheng District in the north. The village was formed during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, covering an area of about 1 1,000 mu with a construction area of 60,000 square meters. Development history

Wulin Village was formed in Hongwu period of Ming Dynasty. At the end of the Qing dynasty, people began to live in Wulin abroad, and then overseas Chinese returned to China to invest and build a large number of beautiful foreign buildings. The village scale is gradually expanding and the architectural style is gradually diversified. The village area is about 1 km2, the registered population is10.8 million, and the overseas Chinese10.5 million. It is a veritable hometown of overseas Chinese.

From April, 2065438 to April, 2008, Wulin Traditional Village officially started the transformation of traditional buildings, taking the principle of "original flavor, reappearance of original appearance, renovation of the old as the old" as the principle, making full use of the original building materials, and preserving the village's historical culture and folk customs.

In July 2023, it is planned to be a national 4A-level tourist attraction. After the publicity was completed on July 25th, 2023, Jinjiang Wulin traditional village scenic spot was identified as a national 4A-level scenic spot.
