The difference between plug-in type and hybrid type.

There are significant differences between plug-in hybrid vehicles and hybrid electric vehicle in many aspects.

1. Power supply:

Plug-in and hybrid vehicles can usually be charged by external power supply, so they can run in pure electric mode.

Hybrid electric vehicles mainly rely on fuel engines to provide power, and cannot use pure electric mode.

2. Energy conservation and environmental protection:

When the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle runs in pure electric mode, it will not produce exhaust emissions, so it is more environmentally friendly.

Hybrid electric vehicles still emit exhaust gas when driving, although they reduce carbon emissions compared with traditional fuel vehicles.

3. Driving mileage and charging requirements:

Plug-in and hybrid usually have a long cruising range in pure electric mode, which can meet daily driving needs. At the same time, they can also be charged by an external power supply, thus expanding their endurance.

The mileage of pure electric mode of hybrid electric vehicle is relatively short, usually only enough for short-distance driving, and long-distance driving mainly depends on fuel engine.
