Advantages and Disadvantages of Diagnostic Evaluation:

Disadvantages: the design model is more cumbersome, takes more time, the timeliness is poor.

Diagnostic evaluation is a determinative evaluation that is carried out before the start of teaching activities to identify the learning readiness of the evaluation object in order to take appropriate measures to make the teaching program smooth and effective implementation.
