How does Britain attach importance to moral education management?

Britain attaches great importance to moral education management. Since the 1960s, due to the influence of progressive and structuralist moral education concepts, a series of reforms have been carried out, and it is advocated to cancel formal moral education courses and integrate moral education into colorful activities. However, this attempt was far from the traditional British customs, which led to social chaos. In order to change the social situation, in the late 1960s, Britain organized two moral research institutions, Oxford University and Cambridge University, to explore new ways of moral education. At the same time, the government insisted on allocating a considerable sum of money to support their research under the very difficult financial situation in the 1970s. These two research institutions have compiled two sets of moral education textbooks, namely Lifeline of Middle School and Starting Line of Primary School, which have contributed to school moral education. 1978, Britain also established the Social Ethics Committee and Social Ethics Education Center in Leicester University, formulated a unified school moral education plan, carried out a large number of research activities, and put forward many new concepts of moral education. Since the 1980s, the government has continuously strengthened the state's control over moral education, and invested 200 million pounds at a time, which was specially used for moral education in schools. All these measures have helped Britain to alleviate the social problems caused by poor moral education in schools to some extent.
