Introduction of scenic spots

Macao Museum opened in 1998, located on Persimmon Mountain near the Big Sanba Archway. You can visit the great fortress together. The museum shows the history and social changes of Macao, records the process of the intersection and integration of eastern and western cultures in Macao, and forms a unique folk culture through rich exhibits.

The museum has three floors, two of which are built under the platform of Dabao, and only the top floor is transformed from the ground building of the original meteorological observatory, which preserves the original architectural style and geomorphological features of Dabao to the greatest extent. After visiting the museum, there is a big fort overlooking Macau City.

The first floor of the museum is called "Macao Primitive Civilization", which introduces the origin of Macao and the development of China and Portugal before Obis arrived in the Pearl River Delta in 15 13. The second floor is the folk art and tradition of Macao. The exhibits show all aspects of Macao's history, including entertainment, daily life style, religious ceremonies and celebrations. The third layer shows the characteristics of contemporary urban life in Macao and its prospect for the future. In addition, the museum also exhibited the works of some writers closely related to Macao, including the famous Portuguese writers Jia and Pi.
