A complete collection of birthday noodle practices.

China Han people have always had the custom of eating longevity noodles on their birthdays [1], which is said to be related to Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. Longevity noodles are mainly made of high-gluten flour with various seasonings, which represents people's good wishes for the future.

Face is face, "face length is face length", so people borrow long faces to wish longevity. Gradually, this practice has evolved into the habit of eating noodles on birthdays (festivals), which is called "longevity noodles". ① Pour high-concentration flour into a basin, add salt, stir well, add water to form dough, combine soft and hard, and bake for 30 minutes. ② Put the baked noodles on the table, knead them into strips (slightly thinner) with uniform thickness, and then put them into the oil pan until the prepared noodles are ready.

(3) Pull the noodle dish directly into the boiling water pot, cook it, take it out and put it into the bowl.

(4) Add salt, chicken essence, pepper and soup to the hot bone soup, pour into the noodles, put the cooked quail eggs, cherry tomatoes, Chinese cabbage and stewed mushrooms on the noodles to form a certain shape, and finally sprinkle with diced mustard tuber.
