I. Introduction

According to the spirit of the Ministry of Education's Teaching and Learning [2006] file No. 16, "On Comprehensively Improving the Quality of Teaching and Learning in Higher Vocational Education," the reform of the talent cultivation mode of higher vocational education should be based on the enhancement of the vocational ability of the students, based on the occupational positions, and the reform of the vocational training mode should be based on the vocational ability of the students. The reform of talent training mode of higher vocational education should aim at enhancing students' vocational ability, according to the requirements of vocational positions, referring to the relevant vocational qualification standards, and strengthening the cultivation of students' ability, especially the cultivation of practical ability. Business English major is a relatively short time in our college, in the process of several years of construction and development of the major, we continue to explore and explore, and strive to adjust the professional curriculum and reform the training mode in accordance with the spirit and requirements of the relevant files of higher vocational education. The Business English major always adheres to the guiding ideology of serving the local economy and social development, takes the school as the main body, relies on the industry and enterprises, and takes the professional steering committee as the link, and constantly explores the way of combining engineering with schooling. Over the past few years, through the exploration of the combination of industry and learning, alternating talent training mode, vigorously develop new internship base, and the enterprise experts into the campus, so that students deep into the internship base for the internship, this mode of teaching not only makes students learn a lot of books can not learn the skills, but also greatly broaden their employment channels and has achieved initial results.

Theoretical basis for the reform and practice of the industrial-academic integration talent cultivation mode for business English majors

1, the concept of industrial-academic integration. What is the combination of engineering talent training mode? The World Association for Cooperative Education's explanation is: "Combining learning in the classroom with learning on the job, students apply their theoretical knowledge to work practices that are relevant, work for real employers, and usually get paid, and then bring back to the classroom the challenges they encountered and insights they gained on the job to help them analyze and think further in their studies. " This form of schooling takes the enhancement of students' practical hands-on ability as a breakthrough, improves students' vocational quality, shortens the gap between school education and employers' needs, and improves students' competitiveness in employment as a fundamental principle, fully embodies the concept of vocational education of "employment-oriented and ability-cultivation as the core", and is a product of the changes in social development and the development of China's vocational education system. It is a product of social development and a core area for the reform and development of vocational education in China.

2, the guiding ideology of higher vocational education. 2006, the Ministry of Education issued the "Several Opinions on Comprehensively Improving the Teaching Quality of Higher Vocational Education", which clearly stipulates the guiding ideology of higher vocational education of "service as the purpose, employment-oriented, and take the road of combining the development of production with learning", which determines the necessity of the business English education. This guiding ideology determines that it is necessary to reform the current talent cultivation mode of business English majors. Although the history of China's higher vocational education is not long, but it is developing very fast, the combination of work and study, the combination of industry and education, and the deep integration of schools and enterprises constitute the characteristics of China's current higher vocational education talent training mode. Higher vocational education emphasizes the cultivation of talents according to the needs of the labor market, employment-oriented, and the pursuit of zero distance between school education and social production practice. The combination of engineering and learning is precisely the most effective way to achieve this goal.

Henan Agricultural Vocational College business English major to implement the "2 +1" combination of engineering talent training mode, that is, the first two years of the students on campus to learn theoretical courses and practical courses, the third year organized by the school. The third year is organized by the school for off-campus internship. The one-year period provides ample time for students to understand the society and learn the practical knowledge and skills in the front line, and the school promotes practical teaching and students' employment through the establishment of off-campus internship bases for combining engineering and learning. Therefore, the good implementation of the off-campus internship base is the foundation and quality assurance for the reform and practice of the engineering-learning combination talent model, and the correct reform ideas and appropriate practice measures are of great significance in realizing the talent training goals.

First, to clarify the combination of engineering, school and enterprise "2 + l" the basic idea of cooperation.

"2+1" refers to two years of on-campus courses and one year of enterprise industry courses. That is to say, students in three years of higher vocational learning life, the first two years in the school focus on learning the basics of professional knowledge, that is, the basic knowledge of the English language and basic skills of business management; after the first semester of the year in the enterprise classes, learning the skills required by the enterprise, that is, the core skills of the job, the last semester of the top of the internship in the enterprise. The first two years focus on theoretical knowledge, and the last year focuses on practice.

Secondly, it is necessary to clarify the basic features of the engineering-learning integration talent cultivation mode for senior English majors.

The basic features of the engineering-learning talent training model for business English majors are specifically expressed as follows: 1 The engineering-learning talent training program is an education program that organically combines on-campus learning with work experience learning in the enterprise, so that the students can not only obtain academic education, but also experience vocational qualification training; 2 Schools and cooperating educational enterprises to establish relatively stable contractual cooperative relationship, the formation of mutually beneficial, complementary advantages *** with the development of the power mechanism; 3 cooperative enterprises to provide students with jobs are developed or recognized by the school, is to engage in professional work suitable for learning and training environment, the enterprise on the employment of students by the enterprise and the students two-way choice decision; 4 students engaged in the actual production and operation of the cooperative enterprises, the enterprise of the students in accordance with the requirements of the official staff and management; 5 students in the cooperative enterprise work Closely related to their academic and vocational goals; 6 students in practice work progress is led and monitored by the school; 7 by the school and the enterprise **** with the examination and evaluation of students to participate in cooperative education in the work of the performance; 8 enterprises to recruit and train students to participate in cooperative education as an important part of the development of the enterprise and training of talents in the development of the enterprise's business.

The essence of the combination of engineering, school-enterprise cooperative education is the school and employer *** with the development of talent training programs, *** with the development of talent training, students graduated from all or part of the employment in the employer of an industry-academia cooperative education talent training model. As a school, you must first go deep into the enterprise to understand the needs of the enterprise and talent training specifications.

Enterprise research should focus on understanding the number of employees recruited each year, the type of talent, the enterprise's knowledge of skilled personnel, skills and attitudes of the requirements, etc., for the school's professional settings, curriculum settings, etc. to provide a basis for decision-making. It will help to accurately locate the talent cultivation goal of business English, marketize the professional setting, strengthen the professional target, improve the students' learning motivation, enhance the job adaptability and social adaptability, form a benign circle of enrollment and employment and realize the talent cultivation goal of business English, and promote the vigorous development of the reform of higher vocational and tertiary education. Fourth, business English professional teaching mode reform

"2 + 1" engineering combined talent training mode of the main form of project-based training, which has become a business English professional talent training mode innovation project. In the process of talent cultivation, the main thing is to improve the students' practical ability, so we should boldly carry out the reform and exploration of classroom and practical teaching, and implement innovative education. Adopting various forms of education such as centralized classes, decentralized guidance, open off-campus training base internships, and special project seminars, etc., are all innovative ways to reform and explore the classroom and practical teaching. In the process of construction and implementation of teaching reform of the professional characteristics of the project, Henan Agricultural Vocational College, Department of Basic Sciences, Business English program has done the following: 1 Professional research. In the process of teaching program development to widely consult experts, combined with expert feedback on the teaching program to make timely adjustments, so that the Department of Basic Sciences to train students to meet the actual needs of society.

2, extensive base **** construction, school and enterprise personnel mutual part-time mutual employment, to carry out research, project promotion

Henan Agricultural Vocational College, business English major and off-campus enterprises and institutions **** construction of internship bases, to build an effective school and enterprise mutual employment mutual part-time cooperation and long-term mechanism, and achieved significant results, so far, the Department of Basic Sciences, business English major more than ten teachers were off-campus So far, more than ten teachers of the Business English program of the Department of Basic Sciences have been hired by enterprises and institutions outside the university. Since the establishment of the Department of Basic Sciences Business English, in Henan Province and Zhengzhou City as the center of radiation surrounding areas of provincial and municipal administrative institutions, business units, extensive practice base **** construction, signed a two-way mutually beneficial practice base agreement, the use of the school's faculty, technical force for the enterprise institutions to provide technical support, both exercise dual-teacher teaching staff, but also promotes the development of the enterprise, and has achieved good results.

3, strengthen student internships, practical training in the external cooperation

Our business English program since its formation in the hospital, the department leadership of the strong support, and actively cooperate with employers to create a good internship conditions for students. In the construction of the training room, we strengthen the liaison and cooperation with social enterprises and institutions, according to the social requirements of the ability of students to prepare for the construction of the training room, or to improve the training room. Since its establishment, the Department of Basic Sciences has been actively cooperating with employers to create good conditions for students' internship, and has hired businessmen and senior managers from internship bases to guide students during their internship. In the top job practice, each student has a clear supervisor to guide, evaluate and advise the students in their top job practice. Shanghai, Qinhuangdao and other business hotels provide students with 9-month week of top practice sites, distributed in the secretarial, reception, translation, etiquette, room service, e-commerce and other related basic positions to ensure that students have a proficient mastery of the job skills and adaptability of the corporate work environment. At the same time, the school, the hotel, the students signed a tripartite internship agreement to fulfill and safeguard their respective responsibilities and rights, so that the organic combination of work and learning, and put it into practice. Effectiveness of the top internship: Business English has formed a good mechanism of production and learning, the Department of Basic Sciences for the enterprise to solve technical problems, to promote the promotion of new enterprise projects and market development, English training, etc.; enterprises to provide guidance for the construction of the business English profession, and provide students with internship training bases, enterprises and schools have formed a good cooperation, the school and enterprise **** win situation

Four,

Based on the nature and scale of the cooperating enterprises of the off-campus internship base, as well as the different specific teaching tasks undertaken in cooperative education, the business English major in our school mainly carries out the following two modes of exploration of the management of off-campus internship bases:

1, the enterprise-based management mode.

This type of model is generally applicable to two situations: one is an all-round involvement of enterprises in a form of order-type cooperative teaching

Education, the partner is generally a large enterprise. The main purpose of enterprise cooperation is to train the required

applied technical talents according to their requirements. One type of cooperation is in cooperative education, with enterprises accepting students' job internship as the main content

form of cooperation, the partner is usually small and medium-sized enterprises. For example, on the eve of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, Shanghai hotels, hotels are in urgent need of a large number of professional foreign language talents, 08 business English students in the Department of Basic Sciences under the leadership of the organization in a number of hotels, hotels top internship.

2, enterprise and school management mode.

This is the most common management mode we have adopted. In this mode, the enterprise provides the school with the necessary sites, devices, teachers and other conditions for practical

teaching, and sends specialists to take charge of the management of the practical teaching base. The practical activities of students in the practice teaching base are part of the business activities of the enterprise. Unlike the separate management of enterprises, the teaching activities of the practice teaching base are carried out in full accordance with the requirements of the specialty, and the specialized teachers are directly involved in the teaching management of the practice teaching base. For example, from 2007 to 2010, our business English majors went to the training bases in Qinhuangdao and Beijing to do internships led by professional teachers and cooperated with enterprises to implement the management mode of combining enterprises and schools. This management mode on the one hand, students improve their skills through practice; on the other hand, full-time teachers through the top practice, familiar with the tasks and responsibilities of each position, to accumulate on-site work experience, this approach can quickly promote the growth of young teachers as experts in the industry, so that lectures can be taught, training, the knowledge and skills that are really needed in the workplace

V. Summarization

To explore the business English major workplace training base, we need to explore the business English major workplace training base.

Taking exploring the training mode of combining engineering with business English as the starting point, clarifying the basic idea of combining engineering and school-enterprise "2+l" cooperation, analyzing the traditional talent training mode of business English majors, thus carrying out the reform of the teaching mode, actively exploring and constructing new training bases, strengthening the cooperation between schools and enterprises and combining engineering, by exploring the management of off-campus practical training bases. Explore the management mode of off-campus training base and then explore the talent training mode of combining engineering, with the help of the enterprise's platform, provide the real working environment for the business English students, and timely feedback on the objective requirements of the society for the talents, which also promotes the teaching reform, is a kind of benign circle; at the same time for the enterprise to train the talents to reduce the cost, do not have to go to the training of bookworms. This win-win model of talent training should be developed and improved in practice, so that schools, students, employers can get real benefits from it, so that higher vocational business English professional education to make greater contributions to society.

Humans always follow certain pragmatic principles when using language for communication, including the principle of politeness.

Keywords: transpositional thinking, politeness principle, English business letter

In the current international business communication, people use a variety of communication methods, which are usually categorized into verbal communication and non-verbal communication. Thesis reference. Among them, verbal communication refers to the use of language and text for communication, which contains both oral communication methods such as telephone calls and business negotiations, and written forms of communication such as letters, telexes, telegrams, faxes and contracts. Thesis reference.

The rapid development of international trade requires people to use a more convenient and rapid means of communication, fax, telex, e-mail and telephone and other time-saving and efficient means of communication are widely used, but the vast majority of international trade business activities, such as sending samples, orders, shipments, and other business is completed through the correspondence. This article will be based on the characteristics of the business letter style, discuss how to think differently in business letter writing, so as to maximize the reflection of the relevant principles of language.

I. The principle of politeness and its guidelines

Human beings always follow certain pragmatic principles when using language for communication, including the principle of politeness. International business letters as a language communication, also follow this principle. Only under the guidance of the principle of politeness, business letters can be written in a decent manner, thus ensuring effective business communication.

"The principle of politeness" is the principle of language communication put forward by Leech in 1983, he believes that people in language communication consciously or unconsciously follow this principle. "The Principle of Politeness consists of six guidelines: decency, generosity, praise, humility, consistency and sympathy. "Decency" refers to the speaker's way of speaking in order to achieve his or her own purpose in verbal communication, which is to make others suffer less and benefit more. "Generosity" means that the speaker should be more generous to others, and the speaker himself should strive for less benefits and suffer more losses. The criterion of "praise" means not to speak against others when they are stating or expressing something or a certain point of view, i.e., less derogation and more praise. "Modesty" means to keep a modest attitude when talking to others, i.e., to say less good things about oneself and more about one's own faults. "Consistency means minimizing differences and maximizing agreement. The "sympathy rule" means that in verbal communication, one should minimize antipathy toward the other party and sympathize with what the other party says. These six guidelines for effective communication for the purpose of business letter writing has a very strong guiding role.

Second, how to think differently to fully reflect the principle of politeness

1. Business letter style characteristics and writing standards

Business letters in the use of language belongs to the written application of the genre, focusing on the language and the means of expression of the choice, pay special attention to the language of the expression of the effect of the language is often formally implicit, but not overly blunt, leaving room to speak to avoid being simplified and rude; secondly, to avoid being simplified and rude. Simplified and impolite; secondly, cordial and rarely pointed, although not a lot of emotional aspects of the wording, but between the lines in the active creation of a harmonious and cooperative atmosphere, to facilitate the enhancement of each other's cooperation; thirdly, easy and flexible, easy to enhance understanding, to reach a **** knowledge, to guide the benign development of business communication.

Based on the language characteristics and style of business letters, people have traditionally used the 7C principle as a standard for judging effective letter writing, that is, the standards and principles of business English writing is summarized in seven words starting with the letter C: completeness, correctness, correctness, conciseness, clarity, specificity, concreteness, politeness and politeness. Concreteness, courtesy and consideration.

Whether it is from the characteristics of the business letter style or its writing standards, it is highlighted that the principle of politeness is carried out throughout the writing of business letters, so how to maximize the realization of the principle of politeness in the writing of letters is the basis of effective communication.

2.1 The concept of transpositional thinking and its role in business communication

The essence of transpositional thinking is to put oneself in the shoes of others, which is a kind of psychological experience process of human to human, put oneself in the shoes of others, is an indispensable psychological mechanism to reach understanding, which objectively requires us to put our inner world, such as emotional experience, way of thinking and so on, in the same way as the other people. The objective requires us to contact each other with our own inner world, such as emotional experience, way of thinking, etc., and stand in the position of the other party to experience and think about the problem, so as to communicate with the other party emotionally, and lay the foundation for better understanding.

In business communication, especially in cross-cultural business communication, transpersonal thinking is an indispensable means and method for effective communication. The use of transpersonal thinking, always from the perspective of the other party and the interests of the starting point, respect for trade objects, you can make your message more friendly, so that the communication is more persuasive, more professional and affinity and humane, in order to establish a good business reputation at the same time to achieve a positive effect of communication.

2.2 How to reflect the principle of politeness by thinking differently

Thinking differently in the writing of business letters is a style of writing that requires letter writers to start from the reader's point of view, pay attention to the information that the reader wants to know, respect the reader's psychological feelings, and protect the reader's self-esteem. The use of this writing style, should focus on the following aspects.

2.2.1 Talk about the reader rather than yourself

Readers want to know how their own interests will be affected, and we need to take the initiative to provide this information to meet the reader's need for information, so as to make our information more complete and more attractive.

A: We are shipping your order of September 21 this afternoon.

B: The two dozen CorningWare starter sets you ordered will be shipped this afternoon and should reach you by September 21.

The first of these two sentences emphasizes what the writer is trying to do and ignores the information that the reader is interested in. The second sentence fits the standard of clear, specific writing, informing the reader of the specific shipment and expected date of arrival, meeting the reader's information needs, taking into account the interests of the other party, and achieving the purpose of communication by effective means, maximizing the principle of politeness in the principle of "decency".

2.2.2 Focus on the reader's specific requirements

When writing a business letter involving the reader's requirements, orders or other relevant documents, to specify rather than generalized as "your order or so-and-so documents". Specifying the order or request for the trade object makes the business letter seem friendly.

A: We acknowledge receiptof your letter dated July 8 th , inquiring for the price of our silkproducts.

B: The desk chair youordered May 5 th has been shipped this afternoon.

B: The desk chair youordered May 5 th has been shipped this afternoon.

Both of the above sentences specify what the other party is asking for, which is consistent with the 7Cs principle.

2.2.3 Minimize talk of your own feelings

In most business situations, personal feelings are often irrelevant to the business, unless they are not. In most business situations, personal feelings are often irrelevant and should be avoided except in the context of congratulations or sympathy.

We are happy to extend you a credit line of $5000.

This sentence talks too much about the writer's own feelings and fails to utilize empathy for the reader's interests; it should read:

You can now charge up to%5000on your American Express.

You can now charge up to%5000on your American Express card.

The latter sentence highlights the benefits to the reader, which is more appropriately phrased, so when writing this type of letter, the writer should maintain a neutral and natural emotion, with the aim of 'informing', and reducing the amount of emotion shown. The writer should keep a neutral and natural feeling in writing this kind of letter. In the letter of congratulations or sympathy, it should follow the "consistent guidelines" and "sympathy guidelines", the other party's corresponding feelings expressed, the formation of emotional **** Ming, to promote the effect of communication.

2.2.4 When it comes to positive situations, talk more about the reader

When it comes to positive situations in letter writing, the narrative should focus on the reader.

A: I provide healthinsurance to all employees.

B: You receive healthinsurance as a full-time P& G employee.

In the two sentences above, sentence A focuses on the reader only. In sentence A, the focus is only on the concerns of "I" and not on the interests of the reader, whereas in sentence B, the use of transposition focuses on the rights and interests of the reader, and emphasizes the positive situations that are beneficial to the reader. In the positive case, if the content includes the reader, the use of "We" to include the reader will also work well, and the information conveyed will be more relatable.

2.2.5 Protecting the reader's self-esteem in negative situations

And when talking about negative information, try to be polite and subtle, avoiding the use of the personal pronoun "you" to avoid making the reader feel attacked, insulted, or blamed. Try to look at the following paragraph in a reminder letter example:

You must beaware that the terms and conditions fo a contract once signed should bestrictly observed, failure to abide by them will mean violation of contract. Ifyou refer to our Sales Confirmation, you will see the clause reading:

"The Buyershall establish the covering Letter of Credit before 30 th August,2000, failing which the Seller reserves the right to rescind the contractwithout further notice. "

The above paragraph is clear and accurate, concise and complete, but because of the use of the person "you" and the contract text quoted, will make the reader to accuse, threaten the negative feelings, and even produce conflict. Therefore, in negative situations, you should try to use passive voice and impersonal expressions to avoid condemning the other party.

Additionally, business letters should ensure that the text is non-discriminatory, and that the language does not discriminate against the reader on the basis of gender, physical characteristics, race, age, or any other criteria.

2.2.6 Emphasize Positive Information

It is inevitable that negative information will be mentioned in a business letter, for example, in a reimbursement letter or a claims letter, and it is unavoidable to mention negative information to the reader. It is more sincere to be clear, precise and straightforward when telling the other party about the negative information, so that the reader can take it seriously.

But in most cases, it is better to emphasize the information. Annette N. Scheibel and N. Lamar Jr. Reinsch found that business people respond more positively to affirmative words and are more likely to commit to positively worded requests. Therefore, in letter writing, try to avoid negative words or words with negative connotations; emphasize what the reader can do, and avoid amplification and the reader can not do the act; must be mentioned in the negative information, should provide the reasons for the generation of negative information, to give the reader a reasonable explanation; as far as possible to weaken the impact of the negative information in the letter writing, try to avoid the negative information in the beginning, the end or the first line of the first line of the change of the page, and other prominent position, use the layout of the letter to the negative information, the negative information on the business of the reader, the negative information on the business of the reader. In letter writing, try to avoid placing negative information in prominent positions such as the beginning, the end or the first line after a page break, and use the layout of the letter to weaken the negative information. Thesis reference.

2.2.7 Tone and authority

The tone of a letter is often a reflection of the writer's attitude towards the reader, which may be humble, arrogant, friendly, or rude. The use of tone is very subtle, and it is often associated with power; Kitty O. Locker believes that a tone appropriate for business writing should be professional but not stiff, friendly but not disingenuous, assertive but not arrogant, and courteous but not condescending. She believes that the following ways can help us to capture the tone of a letter:

1 Use polite titles to address less familiar people in a trade object or other organization.

2 Pay attention to the meaning of power in your wording. For example, "Thank you for your cooperation" is usually said by a superior to a subordinate, but not vice versa.

2.2.8 Thinking outside the box

Good letter writing is not just about the words you put in your mouth, but also about the content of the letter, the structure of the chapters, the style of the writing, and the layout of the letter and the use of paper.

When the body of the letter can not encompass all the information provided to the reader, should be attached to the letter or mailed in another way to provide the reader with the most complete information. In the construction of the chapter, the reader should be concerned about the information highlights, the use of the subject and paragraph headings in order to facilitate the reader to grasp all the information points of the letter, the language should be simple and easy to move, easy to readers to accurately grasp the information, to achieve the effect of accurate communication. In addition, the layout of the letter and the paper to achieve a good communication effect also has a certain impact, beautiful layout, high-quality paper will allow people to write the writer's care, efficiency and thoughtfulness to produce a good first impression.
