Who is the famous nuclear sculptor?
Xu Yinsheng is a master of modern nuclear carving (1923.5.13-2011.3.9) and a representative figure of Zhoushan nuclear carving. The originator of freehand brushwork arhat head, the peak of arhat head, and the founder of Xupai arhat in Zhoushan, Suzhou. His works include Yang Jiajiang, Eighteen Arhats, Fuyu in Qing Ji and so on.
2. Liu Xiaomin
Formerly known as Liu, he was born in 1963, a famous nuclear carving artist in Suzhou. He studied under Song Shuiguan, a senior arts and crafts artist in Jiangsu Province and a representative inheritor of intangible cultural heritage projects in Jiangsu Province.
3. Ma Fuyuan
Ma Fuyuan, a native of Zhoushan Village, Suzhou, was born in 1953. /kloc-studied nuclear carving at the age of 0/3, and studied in Zhoushan craft factory in his early years. Because of his keen interest in nuclear carving, he made rapid progress in his studies and made great contributions to the craft factory at that time. In the early 1980s, he set up his own studio. During this period, Mr. Ma Fuyuan has been practicing his skills hard, focusing on the eighteen arhats and making great achievements.
4. Xia Dong
Xia Dong, a celebrity of arts and crafts in Jiangsu Province, won the gold medal in the 7th China (Wuxi) International Culture and Art Expo with the nuclear sculpture "Snuff Bottle, Good Luck".
The work "The Fifteenth Pass" was selected as a municipal public service advertisement and displayed in the track area of Suzhou Metro Station 1, Line 2 and Line 4.
5. Wang Honglun
Wang Honglun, 1985, a native of Jinxiang County, Shandong Province. He liked carving since he was a child, and later he studied under Pan Faqing. Through years of hard study, I gradually formed my own style.
His works have been published in Modern Root Carving Range Rover, The Light of Root Carving in China and Selected Works of Contemporary Folk Craftsmen in China.
