The Origin of Dragon Form Taijiquan of Dragon Form Taijiquan
On the origin of Dragon Form Taijiquan, there are two main sayings:
(1) According to the disciples of the fist for the Song Dynasty Taoist priest Zhang Sanfeng circulation, the Qing dynasty Guangxu years, Wudang Mountain Taoist Pei Yuanchen traveled to Beijing, passed on to the Division Shiming (the word new three), the Division Shiming passed on to the early years of the Tianjin Railway Bureau, a native of Jinan, Shandong Province, Zhang Zhenzhi (Zhi) (1894-1970). Zhang Zhenzhi (Chi) passed to Zhang Hongkui, Yan Xingzhuang, Qu Chaolu, Zhou Wentao, Wang Yiqiao, Xiong Chunmao, etc., this boxing began to be more widely circulated in Tianjin. [1]
(2) Yang Lu Chan in Beijing Duan Wangfu taught boxing to Duan Wangfu chief Wang Lanting (Yongtai), after Yang Lu Chan died in 1872, Wang Lanting on behalf of the teacher to teach the art, passed on to the Duan Wangfu document Secretary Xing San (Shiming) and the Duan Wangfu tube land mu Li Ruidong.
Si Xing San learned the routine and passed it on only to his nephew Zhang Zhenzhi. Zhang Zhenzhi then carried it forward, and his famous disciples are Wu Ziyun, Wang Yiqiao, Jin Xuezhong and others. [2]
