Does Ethiopia speak English?

Amharic is the working language of the Federation and English is the common language. The main national languages are Oromo and Tigray.

There are more than 80 ethnic groups, including Oromo 54%, Amhara 24% and Tigray 5%. Others are Afar, Somali, Gulag, Sedamo and Woleta. The main national languages are Oromo and Tigray. 45% of the residents believe in Islam, 40% believe in Ethiopian Orthodox Church, and a few believe in Protestantism, Catholicism and primitive religion.
