How to start Civilization 5 with a strategy for using resources

What's a good place to start has a lot to do with what civilization you use, and different civilizations rely on different resources to different degrees. Generally speaking, you have to synthesize the statistics of the number of resources in the 3 compartments around the location of the first city. Especially the best 5,6 compartments have the best food, capacity and money. After all, the first 5,6 populations are very crucial for the development of the capital city. Generally speaking a city should have at least 2 luxury resources to not lose out. Also marble has a bonus to early miracle building, so if you want to be strong pre-miracle and have marble nearby, it's not a bad idea for the capital to sit directly on the marble.
