The Difference Between Tuso Noodles and Hanging Noodles
1. Production method: Tuso noodles are a kind of vegetarian noodles that are pulled into drying by hand, while hanging noodles are pressed by machine and need to be dried.
2. Taste: Tuso noodles are smooth, soft and tasty, suitable for soup or other ingredients. Hanging noodles, on the other hand, have a tougher texture, are resistant to boiling and soaking, and can be used to make various kinds of noodles in soup, stir-fry or dry mix.
3. Shape and size: Tuso noodles are thicker, usually between 1.5 and 2 millimeters in diameter and about 1.5 meters in length, and their shape is less regular. Hanging noodles, on the other hand, are thinner, usually less than 1.3 millimeters in diameter and between 15 and 20 centimeters in length, with a more regular shape.
4. Place of origin and customs: Tusuo noodles are a local specialty of Zhejiang Province, south of Zhejiang Province, with a long history and deep connotations of traditional folk customs. Hanging noodles, on the other hand, are produced all over the country and are a common noodle dish.
Overall, both Tusuo and Hanging Noodles are popular traditional Chinese noodle dishes, but there are some differences between them in terms of production method, taste, shape and size, place of origin and customs.
