How to make handmade lanterns as New Year gifts?

What I want to share below is the course of colored paper lanterns:

Preparation materials:

Cardboard, glue, scissors, knife, ruler, double-sided tape, pen.

Specific steps:

Take out a piece of colored cardboard, put the cardboard horizontally, and draw two straight lines on the top and bottom of the cardboard with a ruler.

Then draw a vertical line between these two lines with a ruler, and then cut the vertical line with a knife. Note that the interval between each vertical line is the same. Oh, it will make the lanterns more tidy.

Cut out two slender rectangular strips and stick them on the upper and lower straight lines of cardboard.

Connect the cut cardboard left and right with double-sided tape, and stick it together end to end to form a cylinder.

Then slowly stretch the cylinder into the shape of a lantern by hand.

Cut out some decorations from cardboard of other colors. What we cut here are small flowers. The biggest blue flower will be used as the base of lanterns, and we can also make other beautiful bases according to our own ideas.

Stick the biggest flower on the bottom of the lantern as the base, and stick other green leaves on the lantern at will, and a beautiful lantern will be made!
