American Marriage Customs
The traditional wedding ceremony of the Americans is unique. Generally speaking, their wedding highlights "new, old, borrowed, blue" features. The so-called "new" means that the bride must wear a new snow-white dress, to show the beginning of a new life; "old" means that the bride's head of the white veil must be old (generally used by her mother to get married), to show that they do not forget their parents' kindness; "borrowed" is a traditional American wedding ceremony is strange. From the fifteenth year onwards, every five years there is a name, they are: enamel wedding, silver wedding, beads wedding, coral wedding, ruby wedding, sapphire wedding, emerald wedding, diamond wedding. On each of these festivals, couples often give each other gifts, mutual praise and gratitude, so that each other feel comforted.
