Nantong Tongzhou Xiao Zhong Cultural Park is located 500 meters north of Dongshe Town. Based on the ancestral home of General Lu Fengbin, it will be built in the first, second and third phases, with a total area of 150 mu. Designed by Tongji University, it is a garden-style building in the south of the Yangtze River with the style of late Ming and early Qing Dynasty.

The purpose of the cultural park is to spread the culture of loyalty and filial piety. Siyuan, Square, Chinese Column, Cultural Corridor, Stone Carvings of Twenty-four Stories of Loyalty and Filial Piety, Hexagon Pavilion, Baijiangshu, Xiangyun Bridge, Redwood Statues of "Four Wonders and Ten Marshal" in the Park complement each other. There are more than 50 inkstones from Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing and modern times in the park. There are dozens of famous calligraphers such as Zhao Puchu, Cheng Shifa, Shen Peng and Wu Zhongqi, and more than one general such as Chi Haotian and Xiang Shouzhi 100. Both the content and the creative style show a strong cultural background. In the garden, you can fully feel the power of traditional culture of loyalty and filial piety.

At present, with the attention of leaders at all levels in Tongzhou District of Nantong City and the entrustment of General Lu Lao, Xiao Zhong Cultural Park is still in the process of planning and expansion, striving to create a unique landscape with unique Nantong cultural heritage!

The tallest statue of Confucius in China was completed in Xiao Zhong Cultural Park, Dongshe Town, Nantong. The main part of the statue consists of more than 480 stones, with a total weight of about 1000 tons. The statue is about 27 meters high, with a base of 5 meters and a base of 32 meters. It is the tallest stone statue of Confucius in China at present.

Confucius is a great spiritual teacher of the Chinese nation, and his loyalty, filial piety and benevolence are the essence of Confucianism and even the whole traditional culture of China. The completion of the statue of Confucius will complement the landscape of Xiao Zhong Square, Zhonghua Column and 24 Xiaozhong Stone Carving Garden in the park, which not only enriches and enhances the connotation and level of Xiao Zhong Cultural Park, but also opens a new chapter for Nantong to inherit the traditional culture of China.

Yifeng Li, the donor of Confucius statue, has been involved in the design and construction of Xiao Zhong Cultural Park since 2006. He said that the age of this statue of Confucius is between 60 and 70 years old, and its facial expression is "both rigid and flexible, powerful and not fierce, and respectful and humble", which embodies the image of a solemn, kind, harmonious, modest and wise generation as a teacher. He hopes that with the completion of the statue of Confucius, he can leave a valuable spiritual wealth for future generations.
