Noun interpretation layer
It is understood that the early lager beer originated in northern Germany, where the climate was cold. The local people put it in a cold cave after brewing, and the low temperature is just suitable for lager yeast fermentation, so this lager beer came into being.
After entering the industrial age, low-temperature fermentation is no longer a problem. Lager is more suitable for large-scale fermentation, for example, a fermentor is 20 tons, 50 tons or even higher, and Al fermentation is extremely difficult to reach this level. Batch production line, filling line and logistics line greatly reduced the production cost of Lager, and finally became popular all over the world. At present, about 90% of the beer produced in the world belongs to lager beer.
Lager beer also includes some sub-categories, such as light lager, deep lager, Pearson, Bok and so on.
