What are the characteristics of the composition layout of contemporary meticulous painting?

With the development of the times, it is necessary to integrate the arts of various countries, not only meticulous painting, but also all kinds of paintings. Especially in contemporary times, western and Japanese painting techniques still have a positive impact on China meticulous painting. While inheriting the fine tradition, contemporary meticulous painters should take innovation as the primary goal and combine their own painting characteristics to innovate. In the exploration, we should not be influenced by the characteristics and aesthetic angle of western painting. We should stick to our true colors (composition) and aesthetic value, brainstorm, take its essence and discard its dross, inherit the excellent Chinese tradition (composition), and create excellent paintings that keep up with the times.

First, the role of traditional "composition" in meticulous painting

"Composition" is the business position, regardless of cultural differences, painters all over the world attach great importance to composition, and the choice of business position is very important for creation. China's meticulous painting is characterized by its friendly environment attached to the composition, and it is necessary to consider the primary and secondary relationship, size, virtual reality and density of painting subjects. The composition of meticulous painting emphasizes contrast and unity. Any object in the painting should be grasped and coordinated as a whole, and the principle of unity and balance should be grasped. Contemporary meticulous painting, when composing a composition, always requires to cooperate with the main painting content, especially flower-and-bird meticulous painting, and the business position should be full first, so as to have a strong visual impact, and at the same time, the performance elements in the picture are extremely rich. In order to contrast the artistic conception of the picture, the subjective object should be highlighted in the picture, and the arrangement of reality and the layering of the picture space should be strengthened. The representative of typical painting is Chen Zhifo's Lotus, in which the sketch helps to set off the fullness of lotus, grass and owl images and make the picture more natural. This more powerfully explains Mr. Chen Zhifo's rigorous scrutiny of composition and his rigorous spirit of repeatedly trying to express his perfect image. In China's meticulous painting, composition is placed in the position of layout and composition, and the integration of conception, image and composition is emphasized, rather than simple repetition and superposition. It has a certain pattern. The author briefly talks about the new direction and new atmosphere of several composition methods of China meticulous painting.

Second, the new breakthrough of meticulous painting under the new "composition" form

(A) the combination of panoramic composition and abstract art

Panoramic composition is to incorporate all the painted scenes into the picture and use traditional composition methods such as "three distances" (height, distance and uniformity) to create. This composition method can make the picture harmonious and unified, and ensure that the painted scenery is patchwork on the picture, the picture structure is tight, and there is a sense of balcony. Combined with abstract painting on the basis of re-addition, a new atmosphere of modern art and meticulous painting has emerged. For example, in modern meticulous painting, the painter began to weave the whole picture with the language of abstract painting, abstracting flowers, birds and figures in his creation, and integrating them into the plane language to make them become the artistic embodiment of the plane. Then he adopted the traditional panoramic composition, including the primary and secondary relationship of the subject, the size, the virtual and real space, and the relationship between density and relaxation. I believe that there will be a new embodiment of meticulous painting in modern art in the picture. For example, Wang Peng, a modern urban meticulous painter at Beijing Normal University, has produced a large number of panoramic views in the Collection of Wang Peng Paintings. Of course, his painting art takes a panoramic view of the female body as the main picture effect, and at the same time, we can feel that this painting method is actually a breakthrough to the traditional meticulous painting, which makes his paintings give people a feeling of combining tradition with modernity.

At the same time, many people and backgrounds are more abstract and real in the panorama. Someone is talking about what this innovation is and how it is carried out. I think this kind of innovation is an innovation formed by using graphic distribution and painting techniques, so if it is serious, where is new? Where was it handed down? Where is it reflected? I think many people will be confused because it is difficult to answer. Therefore, the theme of this painting is to combine the composition situation with abstract techniques to innovate, but also to break through, discover, study, grasp and analyze from small details, and it is also a panoramic composition that makes people feel the unchangeable artistic conception of traditional meticulous painting.

(B) S-shaped composition into Taoism

S-shaped composition originated from Taiji diagram, which can give viewers a sense of fluidity. This composition is often used in China's meticulous painting. Taoism explains the pursuit of harmony between man and nature, and constantly combines nature, harmony between man and painting in creation, and composition is the most comprehensive aspect. In painting creation, we found that this is not a simple composition form, but a combination of his own academic, self-cultivation and characteristics. Of course, we can also understand it as a Taoist nature. For example, Chen Zhifo's "Magpie Magnolia" is a typical S-shaped composition, and Chen Zhifo adopts the S-shaped composition method, which runs through the objective images in an orderly way, so that the picture is virtual and real, and the whole picture is harmonious and natural, with far-reaching artistic conception, which is unforgettable. This is an example of the integration of painting and Taoist thought. Many people say that Chinese painting has the idea of Tao, and it is precisely because of this ethereal idea of Tao that we can break through the limitation of space in composition and strengthen the humanistic spirit. But how many of us are still studying the Taoist thought in painting in the new period to learn and understand what is the spirit of harmony between man and nature? Pursuing lofty aspirations, therefore, I integrate Taoist thought into composition, which is also in line with the new changes that modern meticulous painting constantly pursues, an anti-ancient pursuit under the new atmosphere, and this pursuit is to hope that modern meticulous painting can jump out of the circle and go back to the past while constantly combining western painting techniques. Of course, this does not mean that we can achieve the expected effect by adopting an S-shaped composition, but we hope that at the same time, this composition form can strengthen the new anti-ancient embodiment of traditional ideas in modern meticulous painting. An S-shaped composition can not explain anything, but it can find the shadow of tradition in painting and keep its origin as a simple way.

(3) Diagonal composition combined with boneless painting reflects the effect of new colors.

Diagonal composition is to arrange the main body of the picture on the diagonal, which makes people feel visually balanced. This is also the most widely used composition method in China's meticulous painting. Boneless painting. This kind of painting is unique. Compared with the other two, it has no ink line and outline, but is directly expressed by color. It is generally believed that it began with Xu Xi's grandparents and grandchildren in the Song Dynasty, and has been passed down to this day. In the Song Dynasty, Dong Dai's Postscript on Guang Chuan's Paintings contained: "Shen Cunzhong said: Sun Chongsi and Xu Xizhi, bringing forth the old and bringing forth the new, painting flowers without ink, and dyeing by direct election. There were no bone flowers at that time. " Nowadays, with the development of the times, contemporary meticulous painters have a more perfect grasp of the traditional meticulous expression techniques, can integrate different expression techniques in meticulous painting (figures, flowers and birds), and can also highlight the theme and sense of the times. Imagine if we take the White Rose Picture (created by Ma Yuan, a painter in the Song Dynasty) as an assumption and adopt the traditional diagonal composition method on the original basis. In this painting, the painter makes the main branch of the flower extend diagonally from the lower right to the upper left, and five white roses are distributed on both sides of the main branch, so that the picture is balanced and the viewer can experience vitality and unique sense of life. However, in painting techniques, the new form and boneless method are adopted to strengthen the color sense in the picture and improve the purity of color, thus highlighting a new meticulous painting with oil painting characteristics. Is this picture acceptable at present? And does this painting not only retain the traditional way and spirit of China, but also combine the characteristics of western painting? Therefore, this paper is mainly based on my own reverie and shallow speculation about China's meticulous painting, taking the composition form as the main breakthrough point, retaining the origin of traditional painting from the composition form, and taking this as an opportunity to make breakthroughs and innovations.

In the contemporary diversified development, many painters are looking for breakthroughs and innovations, so these painters are bound to run counter to, deviate from, be radical or retrogress behind the breakthroughs and innovations. This paper is based on this idea, combined with my own understanding of the form of composition, cut into the theme from the form of composition, so as to seek a new direction in preserving tradition and seeking change. I hope to keep the traditional creative techniques and integrate the progress of the times into my own works, which will also contribute to the inheritance and development of meticulous painting techniques in the future.
