Characteristic industries in Narita town

Hosiery weaving is a traditional characteristic industry in Narita Town, Chaonan District. Up to now, it has a history of more than 300 years, that is to say, some people engaged in hosiery in the Qing Dynasty. Since 1980s, the socks industry in this town began to bid farewell to manual operation and gradually turned to mechanized production.

In April, 2006, Chengtian Town Hosiery Association was established, integrating resources and sharing information, which promoted and developed the hosiery industry.
