Image construction theory is philosophy, social psychology, literature and other disciplines. According to relevant information: image has always been a classic topic in philosophy, social psychology, literature and other disciplines, but related research often adopts a macro perspective. Influenced by the trend of social constructivism, image research has ushered in the discourse turn, and image construction and dissemination have begun to attract the attention of scholars in the fields of discourse analysis and pragmatics. Although more and more researchers have explored the issue of image construction based on discourse analysis or conversation analysis, these studies are generally one-sided and subjective due to the lack of a suitable analytical framework. Therefore, based on the existing literature, this study takes the discourse construction view of image as the theoretical orientation, and tries to systematically examine the connotation, types and discourse practices of image construction, with a view to proposing an operable analytical framework for future image research.
