After many negotiations, the temple hoped to lend the statue of Nezha to local residents. Later, the epidemic was controlled and the residents built a temple to worship Nezha. It is said that the temple was built in 1888 and rebuilt in 190 1 year (the 27th year of Guangxu reign in Qing Dynasty). The last two constructions were in 1995 and 2000.
