Varieties suitable for winemaking, such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling, come from Europe, where the growing conditions are different from those in Xinjiang, making it difficult to introduce them. Although there are many grapes in Xinjiang, most of them are edible varieties, and there are fewer varieties of high-quality wine-making grapes.

Winemaking technology is poor

Currently, the wine production process in Xinjiang is relatively backward, and there is a lack of relevant talents. Most of the wines in Xinjiang are of poor quality, and some of the high-quality wines are positioned in the high-end market. Therefore, the reputation of Xinjiang wine is poor and the response is weak.
